The European Skills Passport supplements an individual’s Europass CV. It is an electronic portfolio designed to provide supporting documentary evidence for the statements made in the CV.
Specific sections of the Europass CV can be linked to the relevant document imported into the European Skills Passport so that it is readily accessed by potential employers. Any document can be uploaded into the European Skills Passport, including:
- Scans of qualification certificates or diplomas,
- Course transcripts
- Documents that provide information on the comparability or level of your qualification (for example UK NARIC statements of comparability)
- Employer or other references.
When used as standard as part of an employer’s recruitment process, the standardised format of the European Skills Passport means that applicants’ attributes can easily be cross referenced and identified.
